How the calculator works
It starts from the client’s own numbers: how many calls Google brings them, how many turn into jobs, and what a job is worth. It applies the visibility gain you expect, but only counts 60% of it, so the estimate stays careful. The result is the extra work a month the client could win.
Your fee is a share of that gain (20% is a sensible default), with a floor: never less than your time and software cost plus 60%. The final number is rounded to a familiar price point like $297 or $497, because round "package" prices are easier to say yes to.
Three packages, one conversation
Offering three levels changes the question from "yes or no?" to "which one?". The calculator suggests a Starter, a Growth and a Premium price. Most clients pick the middle one, so make Growth the package you actually want to sell.
Before you send a price
- Run the free Google Business Profile audit so you can show exactly what you'll fix.
- Show the jobs-to-cover figure: "two jobs a month pay for this" is easier to accept than a monthly fee on its own.
- Put the review routine in every package. Our review request generator writes all the messages.

Questions people ask
How much should I charge for local SEO?
Price from the value to the client, not your hours. A common approach is a monthly fee around 15–25% of the extra work better visibility brings, never below your costs plus a healthy margin. The calculator does both checks.
What do local SEO packages usually include?
Google Business Profile management, weekly posts, review requests and replies, photo updates, citation clean-up and a monthly report. Higher tiers add website service pages and more locations.
Should I charge a setup fee?
Usually yes. The first month has the most work (audit, fixing the profile, setting up the review routine), and a setup fee covers it and filters out clients who aren’t serious.
Can I guarantee rankings?
No. Rankings depend on distance, competition and Google’s changes. Promise the work and the reporting, and show progress with the same measurements every month.
Is this estimate accurate?
It’s a planning estimate. It only counts 60% of the expected visibility gain and uses your own figures, so keep the inputs honest and share it with clients as an estimate, not a promise.
