How JVZoo and WarriorPlus Software Launches Work

Front ends, order bumps, upsells, bundles and launch webinars, explained. Know exactly what you are buying before a software launch cart opens.

Software launches on JVZoo and WarriorPlus follow a pattern. Once you know it, you can read any launch in a few minutes, decide what you actually need, and avoid paying for upgrades you will never use.

The launch window

Most launches run on a fixed schedule set by the vendor:

  1. Pre-launch. The vendor publishes sneak-peek videos or a free training to build interest. Nothing is for sale yet.
  2. Launch webinar (optional). Some vendors open with a live webinar, often an hour before the cart opens, and sell a special bundle there.
  3. Cart open. The front end goes on sale at its launch price.
  4. Cart close. After a few days, usually 5 to 7, the launch ends. Prices often rise, bundles disappear, or the product closes entirely.

Launch pages show these times in US Eastern time. Check the countdown on the launch calendar so you see them in your own time zone.

The funnel: what you are offered, in order

When you buy, you move through a series of offers called a funnel. Here is what each step is.

StepWhat it isRequired?
Front endThe core product at the lowest priceYes, it is what you buy
Order bumpA small add-on offered as a checkbox at checkoutNo
Upsell (OTO)An upgrade offered on the page after checkoutNo
DownsellA cheaper version of an upsell you declinedNo
BundleSeveral levels sold together at a discountNo

The front end

The front end is the product itself. A good front end does what the sales page promises without anything else. If a front end only works once you buy the upgrades, that is worth knowing before you buy, and it is exactly what a full offer breakdown shows you.

Order bumps

The order bump appears on the checkout page as a box you can tick. It is usually a small, related add-on, such as templates, extra credits or a training. It is easy to add by reflex, so read what it includes.

Upsells

Upsells appear one by one after you pay. Each is an optional upgrade, commonly:

  • Pro or unlimited versions that lift usage limits
  • Done-for-you packs of templates, campaigns or content
  • Agency or reseller rights that let you use or sell the product for clients
  • Training or coaching, sometimes live

You can say no to each one and still keep everything you already bought.

Bundles

A bundle packages the front end and some or all upgrades at a lower combined price. When a bundle is sold only in the launch webinar, it is usually the best price that launch will offer for the full package. If you already know you want most of the upgrades, the bundle is often better value than buying each upsell separately.

How to read a launch in five minutes

  1. Start with the front end. What does it do on its own? Does that match what you need?
  2. List every upgrade and its price. Add them up so you know the full cost of the ladder before you start.
  3. Check the dates. Note the webinar time if there is a bundle, and the cart-close time.
  4. Check the vendor. Look at their previous launches and what they publish about their track record.
  5. Check the refund terms shown at checkout.

Every Digitellix launch page lays out these five points for you, with the complete offer in one place. See the AI Agency Engine launch for an example.

Bonuses: what they are and how they work

Affiliates, the partners who promote a launch, often add their own bonuses for buyers who purchase through their link. A bonus is only useful if it helps you get results with that specific product. Generic bundles of unrelated e-books add little.

Digitellix builds a bonus pack around each product it presents. You receive it by email after buying through a Digitellix button. If the purchase is refunded, bonus access ends.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by JVZoo or WarriorPlus, and refunds are handled by the vendor under the terms shown at checkout. Read them before you buy, especially for training and coaching upgrades, which sometimes have different terms.

The short version

Buy the front end if it fits your goal. Add upgrades only when you can name what each one gives you. Use the webinar bundle if you want most of the ladder. And always check the dates, so you buy at the launch price rather than after it ends.

Questions

What is a front end in a software launch?

The front end is the first and lowest-priced product in a launch. It is the core product, and it works on its own without any upgrade.

Are upsells required?

No. Upsells, also called OTOs or upgrades, are optional products offered after checkout. You can decline every one and keep the front end.

Why do some bundles only appear in a webinar?

Vendors often sell a discounted bundle only during a live launch webinar to reward early buyers. If you miss the webinar, that exact bundle may not be offered again.

Who handles refunds?

The vendor handles refunds through the marketplace that processed the sale, usually JVZoo or WarriorPlus, under the refund terms shown at checkout.
